Having travelled in February 2024 to the norhtern parts of China with my family, I know that it is not an easy task — China is a vast country, and temperatures can vary greatly. In the north, it can be prohibitively cold — but also beautiful, and it is the side of China you might not have known.
This itinerary is based on our own plans that we weren‘t able to fully realise — Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin closed earlier than expected, and for that reason we decided to re-plan the trip.
But because we did a lot of preparation for that trip, it would be a shame if it went to waste.
So here is our dream winter itinerary — hopefully it will help you to plan your trip.
