Planning a trip to China? There's never been a better time to visit. China has recently introduced a 15-day visa-free policy for many countries, including my home country Poland, which means you can explore the China without the hassle of applying for a visa.
Two weeks is the perfect length for a holiday in China - long enough to see the highlights, but short enough to fit into most people's work schedules. And it matches perfectly with the new 15-day visa-free rule. As the cost of obtaining a visa is relatively high for China, this new policy is a perfect reason to keep your trip short and sweet.
You can now spontaneously decide to visit the Great Wall, see the Terracotta Warriors, or taste authentic Chinese cuisine without worrying about visa paperwork.
Whether you're interested in ancient history, modern cities, or natural wonders, China has something for everyone. And now, it's more accessible than ever!
Ready to discover what you can experience in two weeks in China? Keep reading for an exciting itinerary that will make the most of your visa-free stay.
About this itinerary
The logic behind this itinerary is to provide you an opportunity to see as much of different parts of China as possible, including must-see sights like Beijing and the Great Wall, lesser known metropolies like Chongqing and magical landscapes of Yunnan province.
My goal was to organize all destinations in a "connected" manner allowing you to travel between them by high-speed rail, which I encourage you to do. Modern high-speed rail infrastructure is China's pride and a flag ship project, making it a tourist attraction in its own right. Once you travel by Chinese super-fast, punctual and modern trains, you will come back home wondering why you don't have it back at home.
Let's explore!
